Review

YES, I would purchase this book. The boys' stories are so delightful. They (the boys) have a wonderful outlook on life. People should take note: they could learn a lot from their four-legged friends. Dorothy

Well, having personally met these two, (though their human pet wouldn't let them off the leash because he was afraid of us - Imagine?), we would be happy to buy the book...to use in our litter box! Somehow I think our human pets, Lynelle and Kallie Dawson wouldn't let us though, lucky for you, ha! "Love" Ziggi, Popeye, and Yogii

I had the opportunity to read several of the Poo and Tink stories. They are simply delightful, charming, endearing, addictive and full of character! Each pooch has personality plus. What a joy these tales are to read. Tink and Poo have a knack for story telling, touching your heart, and making you think each time they put paw to paper. --Kathy Anne Harris

These are stories that every dog lover will enjoy. They come from the loving heart, kind soul, and brilliant mind of Bill Walker. He is a man whose love for dogs comes through every story he writes. His beloved Pekes' Tink and Poo will live on forever in these pages and make all of us want to pet our own dogs and thank God for them once again. Joe Mazzella ` joecool@wirefire.com

"The Boys Write" I would be interested in the book. I got to know Bill threw the StoryTime Tapestry website. He is a good "story teller". The "boys" should have had their name under their picture (on the book cover). It would make a great gift to other dog-lovers. D. Belgarde ` dl_belgarde@yahoo.com

Review

I think stories like that are interesting. I have read many bookswritten about pets Especially those writtem by a veterenarian for Scotland that wrote many stories. I can't think of his name now but there was a tv series about his stories also. one such book was "The Lord God made them all:" Nat

Review

The Boys Write is simply refreshing, delightful, and heartwarming. Dog lovers, regardless of age, will find joy in Tink and Poo's reports from Rainbow Bridge. Not only do they give charming reports on the "happenings" at the Bridge, but also they toss in history lessons from time to time. We’re talking about a couple of brilliant boys here………. I also see this book as being a tool for children that have lost a loving family pet. Especially if it’s the loss of their first pet, they will find comfort as they picture Rainbow Bridge. "The Boys" paint a beautiful portrait of the Bridge. Young and old alike will find stories within the covers that will remain with them always. Kathy Baker

I have read every story the boys ever wrote and I told Bill long ago how precious they were. They really do come out as if they were from the heart of Tink and Poo. Bill trained them to write real good. I hope Bill's book sells many copies and Little Girl starts writing, too. Love, Jene

"Clara Wersterfer" <CBWEST@webtv.net> Hi Bill, Wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your storytelling. It reminds me so much of my growing up and listening to my kin folks telling tales. You are far better than I am, as you remember so much of what you heard, and I forgot. Your writing about the cemetery touched me. Especially when you talked about having no one to put flags or flowers on your grave when you are gone. I live in New Braunfels Texas and every memorial day the civic groups get together and place the little flags on the graves of military people. They are removed the day after Memorial Day My parents are both buried in N.C. I call twice a year, Christmas and Easter, to a florist there. He goes and puts an artificial arrangement on their graves. But when I am gone there will be no one to decorate those graves either. Even tho you have no one to place flowers you will leave behind a legacy that will be long remembered. Your writings are from the heart and will be read many years in the future. I love when you write about your dogs. Animals are dear to me too. Thank you. Clara Wersterfer

Bill, I think you have a winner here. I am not a book reader at all, because I do not like long stories. I write stories too and they are short ones like yours. One can read as many complete stories as they want and then go back and read where they left off. You book would be a great guest book in a place like a doctor's office as well. I would most certainly buy your book. Lois Caywood Guffy

Bill Walker, is down to earth and heaven bound he brings his dogs to life with a close to human understanding. The friends they meet in their travels both two and four legged bring joy to all who encounter them.. His style reminds me of Frank Tolbert except Bill talks to the animals while Frank is small town bound.... Joan Reid rbnmimern@aol.com

Yes, I will purchase this book as I love the stories by Tink & Poo. They are so sharing with news about all of their new friends as they arrive and join "The Gang" at the Rainbow Bridge. I was so pleased when they wrote about my dear, and much missed, four-legged children - my kitties. And as for Bill - oh, how he has a way with words! ;-) pj

I have always been one to think dogs very much understand the human language. And I have learned from Bill Walker that if you observe with daily observances of your dogs patterns and the way they communicate with you, it is much like a small child who has not learned the verbal language but yet can fully understand what you are saying. Also, just as a mother will watch her child and know it's next move, you can know your dog's mind and anticipate with certainty what his/her next move will be. Bill's book, "The Boys Write" is a must read for any canine owner or lover. Bill has a wealth of knowlege about his canine kids. Jene' Lind

Congratulations Tink and Poo. How wonderful your stories have been compiled into a book. I do hope you have a sequel in the making, and your loyal fans get to meet more of your new friends who have crossed the rainbow bridge. --K> ( Kay Seefeldt)

What is better than stories that our pets provide us with. Their unconditional love and each one has and seen a personality only seen by those who love and care for them. I would certainly buy the book.

Very Wordy....Use your Grammer check on you computer....and some of the sentences are very long and rambling...use punuaction to brak up some of your thought's. They seem to run togeather and make no sense.

This book is an inventive delight! Not only is it apparent that the author loves his dogs, it demonstrates he finds in them companionship, humor and insight. Congratulations Bill on publising your first book. I am sure there will be many more to come. "Nancy"
